Sam woke up hazily around when her watch said two. She didn't know whether time followed very well here, but she knew that they'd fallen back asleep sometime around eight.

"Hey," she murmured into her best friend's ear, and rubbed at her eyes some more. "Wake up."

"Go away, dad, I don' wanna hunt any ghosts..." Danny murmured, waving an arm in her general direction.

Sam snorted, and tapped his ear gently with a fingernail. "Come on. Wakey wakey."

Danny started awake with a "I wish I were still sleeping" sigh.

"What time is it?" he muttered.

"According to my watch, one," Sam said, yawning. "But I don't know how reliable time is, here..."

"Is it light outside?"

Hopefully it was at least the same day.

She took a peek out the window. "Mmhmm." Another yawn.

He sat up.

Danny was feeling a lot better now--really thirsty, but better. His head still ached a bit, but he wasn't as nauseous and dizzy as before.

"...You want to get something to eat and then explore a bit?" he asked Sam lazily.

Her stomach gurgled in response. Her cheeks flushed. "That'd be nice."

Danny pretty much floooowed out of the bed to the floor, then pulled himself up using the bed for support.

Sam, on the other hand, clomped her feet on the ground with a loud thump and pulled on her boots. Somewhere in sleep she'd lost her hair tie, but she didn't really care, so her hair hung over her shoulders and down her back, a little longer than it usually was, and partially in her face.

She shook out her feet and tapped her heels on the floor loudly to make sure her feet still worked.

"Ready?" Danny asked, near the door? He was...looking at her oddly. It wasn't often that he saw her hair down.

Well, new place, new rules. She touched the strands briefly before dropping her hands to her sides.

"Always." She opened the door and walked out into the hallway, looking at him, suspicious. "Why're you looking at me like that?"

"Huh? I was just staring into space. Still out of it," he said, rubbing his head.

Sam's look softened, and she tugged on his arm. "Come on. I bet you'll feel better when you eat something."

"This way," Danny said, leading her back to the stairs.
